I have a confession to make.

I couldn’t take it anymore. All these projects I’ve been wanting to cast on for right away have been taunting me from my stash every time I walk into that room (which is quite frequently because my full length mirror is in there). I needed another project beside the socks. Something that I would only work on at home when I have had enough sock knitting and want something mindless to knit on.

Ever since I saw Hello Yarn’s Noro Kureyon Log Cabin blanket, I knew that is what the Noro in my stash was meant for.

So… after months of waiting, I cast on for it today.

There’s been a garter stitch thing going on around the knitting blogs and I’ve been struck by the same “must knit garter stitch” bug. This is just the thing to take care of it!

The sock is coming along well. A few more rows and I will begin to turn the heel. I think I can have them done by the end of the month!
