To rip or not….?
Clapotis is DONE. I completed it last Tuesday (Feb. 12th). Just need some good photos before I can give the full FO report.
Since I completed Clapotis, I’ve picked up another project that’s on the needles to work on as my at home project. I decided to work on Icarus, but I’m just not 100% sure I like the yarn for this project and I’m considering ripping it out.
As much as the yarn is "me" in color, I just can’t see actually wearing a shawl so…. bright. And despite the fact that I’ve seen some really pretty variegated Icarus shawls, I don’t know that these colors will work. I think I’d like to make this pattern, but with a solid color. The thing keeping me from ripping it out is how much work I’ve already put into it. I have done nearly 3 repeats, so it’s a bit, but not quite half way or anything.
Do I rip or not?

Rip it. You’ve been questioning it for a while now. I think if you were really happy with it, you would have started working on it again and not questioned it. ;0)
I agree with Amanda. Rip it! You’ll be happier in the long run.
