Ms Lindz Knits

I saw this post (from the lovely gal who runs this great shop) Monday about a Hello Kitty Sock Kit.  There are 35 spots and the sign ups start Wednesday.  Well, I forgot about it (how could that happen!), but realized at around lunch time that I needed to send an email and crossed my fingers hoping there would be a spot for me and guess what!  There was!! 

Now, I haven’t bought any yarn all year.  I’ve been very good and continued to not buy yarn, no matter how sorely I’ve been tempted.  I love Hello Kitty, though, and this was just not something I could pass up.  It’s one of those once-in-forever things that may not happen again.  I’ve been putting all my money towards paying things off and sticking with my budget.  This was something I thought I could treat myself to since I also won’t be attending Knitter’s Connection this year (however MD Sheep and Wool is in the forcast, but I still won’t be spending as much as if I were going to KC this year).

What the hell… I deserve to treat myself now and then.  And Hello Kitty?!  COME ON!  I grew up with a wide assortment of Hello Kitty things and have loved her since I was little.  There’s no way I could pass this up and I’m really excited about it!
